Parfait: Kathi’s Creation

Kathi's Parfait

Kathi sent me this lovely version of the Parfait dress, in a nice midweight denim. Doesn’t it look great? Here’s what she says:

“I finished my Parfait dress and I love it. I used a soft medium weight denim. I made a few mods. I lined the entire bodice. Me and facings don’t play well together. I also added 2 inches to the length so I could make a wide hem.
This dress is so comfortable. I will definitely make another. Thanks for making such great patterns. The fit is to die for. I always have major trouble fitting patterns to my bust. I had no problem with the Parfait pattern.
I just cut our my Beignet skirt and can’t wait to get started.”

Oh my gosh! I just finished (actually yesterday), my very first Parfait dress. I love it and it’s the first time my husband actually looked at a dress I made and gave 2 thumbs up. He loved it so much, he suggested that I wear it to church (which I did, of course). Here’s the link http://beezekneesfashions.blogspot.com/2009/08/project-reveal-peacock-parfait-third.html, plus I plan to add it to the Flickr group. I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful pattern! After I finish it’s cousin, it’s time to start my Macaron dress (actually dresses, I work in multiples). Thank you!!!!

I really like this dress in denim. I now own this pattern but have not had time to make anything up yet. So many designs, so little time.
