I love old needle books, and there are some great ones available on etsy right now. Doesn’t this sewing club look sinister somehow? They seem to me to be scheming.
The insides are often just as pretty. I think these would look great just framed in a sewing room, the graphics are so pretty and colorful.

And I just love the illustration on this one.

Great finds, I definitely see the scheming… it’s all in the eyes :)
Ha, yes. The eyes and those telling arched brows.
Oh, those needlebooks WOULD be great framed..!
Oh good gravy! I have just now (where have I been?) stumbled upon colette patterns, excuse the glazed expression – mouth agape. I am smitten and will be purchasing soon. Just beautiful! And to think you live in my city, well, I’m so glad to have found you. Hurrah!
Hi! I popped over from Dress A day and I am enjoying checking out your blog. This entry struck me as particularly funny, since I’m obviously up to the same thing as you!
